Over the Moon

Sarah Moon, who was originally born in Britain but now resides in Paris, started her career as a model in the 1960s but moved to photography and film shortly thereafter. Her fashion photographs as well as street scenes have a sense of mystery and nostalgia. Her images are usually slightly blurry and give the figures a ghost like appearance.

Although she resides in Paris she is represented by Creative Exchange Agency here in New York and that is where I was first introduced to her. http://www.creativeexchangeagency.com/#p=Artists/Sarah_Moon

In this nine minute video she talks, in her old parisian accent with very few pauses for breath, about what photography means to her as well as narrating some of her photo shoots. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RSknnxOals
